Stephen Miranda, MD, MS, is a resident physician in the Department of Neurosurgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He completed an enfolded fellowship in peripheral nerve under the mentorship of Dr. Eric Zager and his academic career will focus on improving healthcare delivery and outcomes in neurosurgery. Dr. Miranda is an Associate Fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics and is a graduate of the National Clinician Scholars Program at the University of Pennsylvania. He also has previously worked as a research fellow at Ariadne Labs, a joint center for health systems innovation at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Miranda received his MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and his BA from Stanford University with Honors.
