Dr. Martin is the Paul M Kanev Chair of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Connecticut Children's, and Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Dr. Martin's practice includes the breadth of pediatric neurosurgery, with a focus on the evaluation and treatment of disorders of the craniocervical junction. With roots in military neurosurgery, Dr. Martin maintains an active interest in civilian and military trauma systems and patient care. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons Central Committee on Trauma and FireArm Strategy Team, and was a member of the AANS/CNS Committee Firearms Task Force.
