Dillan Prasad is a medical student at the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine passionate about brain-computer-interfaces (BCIs), neuroprosthetics, and functional neurosurgery. Prior to medical school, he earned degrees in neuroscience, astrophysics, and chemistry from the University of Chicago, as well as an M.S. in Precision health data science. He has worked extensively with cortically implanted human BCI subjects during his time at the UChicago Cortical Bionics program. Dillan aims to unite his future surgical practice with translational neurotechnology research to drive innovation for patients via online restorative implants. Outside of his academic time, Dillan is a triathlon cyclist, enjoys playing chess and poker, and is a level II sommelier.
