I am Alejandro Enriquez, PGY-4 Neurosurgery resident at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Completed medical school at Universidad Icesi in Cali, Colombia where I obtained an MD degree with cum laude honors in 2015. I continued my journey by moving to Boston to work as a postdoctoral research fellow in 2017 at the BIDMC Brain Aneurysm Institute. Later, I worked as a Neurosurgery pre-residency fellow at Boston Medical Center for two years. I have over 70 peer-reviewed publications and contribute to the Neurosurgery Speaks! ) translating scientific abstracts to Spanish, expanding their reach to the Latino communities.
