Maggie McCann is a Creighton MD-PhD student studying peripheral nerve injury at Barrow Neurological Institute in the Department of Translational Neuroscience. Prior to beginning medical school, Maggie spent a year studying veterinary medicine at Purdue University and was an NIH T35 Fellow at Stanford University. She holds a Masters in Laboratory Animal Science from Stanford University where she studied spinal cord injury. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from Thomas Aquinas College where her senior thesis exploring the philosophical definition of life.
