Abdul is interested in movement disorders, pain, spinal disorders, and neurotrauma. Abdul is especially curious about the role of transcranial focused ultrasound ablation in modern pain neurosurgery. Several ablative procedures of yore can be rediscovered with focused ultrasound. He is involved in several clinical trials using focused ultrasound to treat movement disorders and chronic pain.
