Jeffrey Greenfield is Vice Chairman and Associate Professor within the department of Neurological surgery at New York Presbyterian Kids. He specializes in pediatric neurosurgery and practices at Weill Cornell, Columbia and MSKCC. In addition, he sees certain adult patients with congenital neurosurgical conditions. Dr. Greenfield has developed an international reputation caring for children and adults with Chiari malformation, tethered cord and syringomyelia and is a strong proponent of transitional neurosurgery – caring for patients with specific conditions from childhood through adulthood. He directs the pediatric endoscopic skull base surgery program utilizes ventricular endoscopy of the brain to treat tumors, hydrocephalus, and cysts within the ventricles, and cares for children with benign and malignant tumors of the brain and spine while co-directing the Children's Brain Tumor Project a basic and translational lab focusing on developing novel therapeutics and delivery for pediatric brain tumors.
