Dr. Emily Payne Sieg is an Assosiate Professor at the University of Louisville in the Department of Neurological Surgery and the Director of Neurotrauma. She is the chief of Neurosurgery at University Hospital. Dr. Sieg's clinical interests are in Neurotrauma and Neurocritical Care, including traumatic cranial and spinal cord injuries. Dr. Sieg received her undergraduate degree from Carnegie Mellon University and her medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine. She completed her residency in neurological surgery at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Dr. Sieg did a 1 year CAST accredited fellowships in Complex Spine Surgery and has a RFP in Neurocritical Care.
