This non-CME session brings together experts in neurosurgery, neuroscience and neuroengineering to examine the current progress in the field of neural interfaces and brain-computer interfaces (BCI). The course consists of lectures on a wide range of topics, ranging from the practical applications of BCI to fundamental neuroscientific investigations applying brain-wide recordings to the study of neurological disorders. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to interact with representatives from several start-up companies developing neural interfaces, with the goal of increasing awareness of the therapeutic potential of these devices and fostering collaborative relationships for the further advancement of the field.
