Medical doctor, researcher, and entrepreneur. I grew up in the Peruvian Andes, where my curiosity was sparked by the great beauty of nature. I am deeply invested in neurosurgery with a keen focus on epilepsy, neurodegenerative-vascular diseases, and brain cancer. My academic pursuits extend to neuroscience, particularly neuroplasticity and neuromodulation. With a vision for the future, I’m enthusiastic about computational neuroscience, neural engineering and data science to improve our understanding of the brain, augment human brain performance and treat neuropsychiatric disorders. Furthermore, I am dedicated to mental health advocacy and the widespread dissemination of neuropsychiatric knowledge, a mission I actively accomplish through my initiative in Peru, Synapsis MHN.
