Kevin C. Davis, Ph.D., is a 6th-year MD/PhD student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. His research focuses on neurosurgical and neural engineering approaches to studying motor control and developing solutions to aid or restore movement in individuals living with neurological motor deficits. Notably, Kevin and his team have enabled an individual with a chronic cervical spinal cord injury to control the throttle of a car using a fully implanted electrocorticography brain-computer interface.
