Vincent DiNapoli, MD, PhD, is a neurosurgeon with Mayfield Clinic Brain & Spine in Cincinnati, Ohio and serves as Director of the Brain Tumor Center at The Jewish Hospital – Mercy Health. Dr. DiNapoli earned his doctorate and medical degrees from West Virginia University in the dual MD/PhD Medical Scientist Program. He subsequently completed his residency in neurosurgery with Mayfield and the University of Cincinnati Department of Neurosurgery. He continued his training with a fellowship in neurosurgical oncology and skull base surgery at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Dr. DiNapoli specializes in open neurosurgery and endoscopic skull base surgery for malignant and benign disease, including primary and metastatic brain tumors, pituitary tumors and acoustic neuromas. In 2018, he was the first neurosurgeon in the USA to use GammaTile radiation therapy to treat patients with newly diagnosed malignant brain tumors. He is a principal investigator on several studies involving GammaTile brachytherapy.
