Jack Zhang is a medical student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, currently conducting a scholarly year in the lab of Jenny Hongyan Zou and Roland Friedel. His research primarily centers on glioblastoma cell migration, in particular, the roles played by the Plexin guidance molecules and host immune cells within the tumor microenvironment. He is excited to be applying neurosurgery in the upcoming 2024-2025 Match cycle.
