Dr Yu Tung Lo, MBBS BSc, is a Neurosurgery Senior Resident at the National Neuroscience Institute, Singapore. His works focus on the translation and clinical implementation of invasive and non-invasive brain-machine interfaces (BMIs) and other neural interfaces. He is currently working on projects such as the use of functional ultrasound (fUS)-based neural interfaces in decoding neural states from the brain and spinal cord, and the development of a bidirectional, closed-loop spinal cord-machine interface. His previous work involved decoding cortical signals in Macaque monkeys in the control of a mobile robotic platform. He has a clinical interest in functional neurosurgery.
