Nija Lomax is an ambitious and dedicated individual aspiring to become a physician, driven by her fervent passion for the neurosciences, which has been deeply influenced by her personal experience with her mother's early Alzheimer's diagnosis at the age of 51.
Throughout her journey in medicine, Nija has demonstrated academic excellence, unwavering determination, and a profound desire to positively impact the lives of patients grappling with neurological disorders. Alongside her research pursuits, she is actively engaged in community service and mentorship endeavors. Nija is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., where she holds the position of chairman for the Youth Leadership Institute. Additionally, she volunteers her spare time as an emotional support counselor.
