Adela Wu, MD is currently a PGY-6 neurosurgery resident at Stanford University. Prior to starting residency, she studied Neuroscience and English Literature at Brown University, completing honors theses in both disciplines. She then attended Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she pursued an additional year dedicated to glioma immunotherapy research. Adela's primary clinical and research objective is to provide and broadly improve care for patients with neuro-oncologic and neurosurgical conditions. During the professional development years of residency, she was the Principal Investigator on an Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality-sponsored F32 training fellowship applying mixed methods to disparities in the intersection of neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, and palliative care. Her interests outside of neurosurgery include writing, contemporary and classic literature, and illustration.
