Zach Pennington is a current third year resident in neurological surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. He completed his undergraduate studies in neuroscience at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, from which he graduated with Highest Honors. He then completed medical school at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where he worked under the mentorship of Daniel Sciubba and Nicholas Theodore. He has published over 200 PubMed-indexed manuscripts to date, with his main focus being on spinal tumors and deformity.
