John P. Andrews, MD is a PGY6 resident at the University of California-San Francisco Department of Neurological surgery. He is a R25-funded research fellow in the lab of Tomasz Nowakowski. He earned his MD at Yale University School of Medicine where he was an HHMI research scholar in the lab of Hal Blumenfeld. Prior to medical school, he attended the University of Missouri-Columbia where he was an NCAA Division I varsity wrestler and earned bachelors degrees in English and Psychology.
