Dr Teddy Totimeh is a neurosurgeon based in Accra, Ghana. He works with the University of Ghana Medical Centre.
Teddy has worked and trained in varied health systems in Israel, the United States, Kenya and the United Kingdom.
His research interests include Metabolic response to trauma, neuro infection and traumatic brain injury. He has completed a fellowship in paediatric neurosurgery.
He loves literature, music. chronicling of human experience, and blogs on multiple platforms.
He is a 2016 EIsenhower fellow and an advocate for critical care management and specialized surgical training in resource-limited environments.
He is married to Maamle and they have 3 kids.
