Student Doctor Fowler II, BS, MPH is currently a third-year medical student at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine - Jonesboro campus. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from Baylor University; a Master of Public Health degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. He is a member of Dr. Jennifer Xie’s Lab at Arkansas Biosciences Institute and has worked in animal studies regarding sciatic nerve injuries, migraines, and osteopathic manipulative medicine. His scholarly activities involve investigating the effects of manual therapy on glymphatic dynamics, perceptions of osteopathic medicine, barriers to surgical access in rural communities, and healthcare and gender disparities in Neurosurgery.
