Muhammed Amir Essibayi, MD, is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Neurovascular Division, Department of Neurosurgery at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Originally from Syria, he earned his medical degree from Firat University in Turkey. He built an academic research foundation and is currently pursuing his Master of Science program at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and he strives to contribute to the medical literature with publications related to neuroendovascular procedures and intracranial aneurysms.
He hopes/aspires to attend a neurosurgical residency in the United States and become a dedicated cerebrovascular neurosurgeon, making small but meaningful contributions through research and patient care. The wonderful training opportunities he's received have prepared him for potential growth as a neurosurgery leader, while still having much to learn on this journey. He's thankful for the chances he's been given and aims to pay that forward through hard work and service to patients.
