Aden Mendoza, MS, is third-year medical student at the Duke University School of Medicine. He completed his BS in Neuroscience and MS in Biology as part of the Contiguous BS/MS Program at the University of California San Diego. He has previously studied the response and mechanisms of resistance to radiotherapy in glioblastoma. More recently, he has focused on understanding the clinical indications for laser interstitial thermal therapy and discovering adjunctive therapies to LITT in mouse brain tumor models under the supervision of Dr. Peter Fecci at the Duke Brain Tumor Immunotherapy Program.
