Dr Sepideh Amin-Hanjani is Director of Cerebrovascular and Skull Base Surgery/Vice-Chair of the Department of Neurological Surgery at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and tenured Professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, with clinical work focused on treatment of cerebrovascular disease. She received her medical degree at Harvard Medical School and completed Neurosurgery residency training at the Massachusetts General Hospital followed by a Cerebrovascular and Skull Base fellowship at the Barrow Neurological Institute. Dr Amin-Hanjani is a past Chair of the AANS/CNS Joint Cerebrovascular Section, and currently serves as Treasurer of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), Secretary of the American Academy of Neurological Surgery, and Chair of Stroke Council of the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association (AHA/ASA).
