As an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Lenox Hill Hospital, I specialize in surgical neuro-oncology, with a focus on brain and spinal tumors. I am currently the Director of the Brain and Spine Metastasis Program at Lenox Hill. My research trajectory began at Columbia University during my residency, under the mentorship of Jeffrey N. Bruce, M.D., and continued through my neuro-oncology fellowship at Northwell Health under the mentorship of David Langer, M.D. and Jonathan Boockvar, M.D. As an attending, I have pursued translational and clinical neuro-oncology research. Specifically, I have dedicated my efforts to understanding gliomas, brain and spine metastases, and advancing skull base neurosurgery. In addition, I have explored intraoperative surgical adjuncts, innovated intraoperative neuro-monitoring, examined clinical outcomes of rare diseases, and participated in clinical trials focusing on novel drug delivery mechanisms. I am also heavily invested in the study of brain connectomics and its role in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative neuro-cognitive outcomes.
