Geoffrey Rogers O'Malley, Jr. is a third year medical student at Hackensack-Meridian School of Medicine in his native New Jersey. He is a 2021 Alumnus of the Boston College’s Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences Honors Program. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with designation as a Scholar of the College for his thesis titled "The Unequal Health and Economic Burden of Pandemics On the Poor". He was intially exposed to the field of neurosurgery through a high school internship program under the mentorship of Dr. Jack Knightly. Geoffrey has volunteered as an EMT for his town's emergency squad since 2015. His research interests include AI, quality improvement, healthcare economics, and healthcare policy. In his free time he enjoys playing golf, hockey, and lacrosse with his family and friends.
