Harshal Shah graduated from the University of Maryland in 2021 with a dual degree in Biochemistry and Neurobiology, and is currently a medical student at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. His research interests center around improving the safety of neurosurgery for patients, through advanced intraoperative neuromonitoring techniques and the implementation of connectomics into neurosurgical planning. After medical school, he plans to pursue a career in neurosurgery, specializing in neuro-oncology.
