Karenna Groff is a medical student at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine in NYU's Three-Year Accelerated MD Pathway for Neurosurgery. She graduated from MIT in 2022 where she studied Biological Engineering. She subsequently completed a Master in Biomedical Engineering at MIT where her thesis work focused on understanding the genetic basis of epilepsy. She is passionate about pediatric neurosurgery, accelerating basic research findings into improved therapeutics for neurological disorders, and increasing global access to high-quality medical care.
