David Levi, BAE, is currently a member of the 2026 class at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Prior to joining the field of medicine, David worked for Delta Airlines in the jet propulsion repair and development department. In the time prior to medical school, he has co-authored two publications, which were published in the Journal of Neurosurgery including “Challenges in Sciatic Nerve Repair: Anatomical Considerations” and “The Declining Incidence of Cervical Spine Surgery in Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis: A Single Surgeon Series and Review of Literature”. He has also presented an abstract on “Reduced Postoperative Opioid Consumption Following Intraoperative Thoracolumbar Interfascial Plan (TLIP) Block Compared to Traditional Field Block” at the fourth annual ERAS meeting in New Orleans.
