Tobi Onafowokan BMBS, MSc, MRCS is currently a research fellow at the Spine Research Center of NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital. Prior to commencing his current role, he served as an orthopaedic surgery registrar (resident) in the United Kingdom. He completed his medical school education and also an MSc in Sports Science at the University of Exeter, and then subsequently achieved Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons England. He is currently increasing his knowledge and research expertise in the field of spine surgery, and will be transitioning back into clinical practice shortly.
